Our Verdict
The A1 Dream gives you quite a lot of playhouse for the money, particularly with the 10' x 6' version. It's a fairly standard style and compares well with similar garage door style models such as the Play Station and Strongman Club Garage - and while we're on the subject the garage doors do make it easy to store small garden toys, cycles, tractors and the like inside the playhouse - a definite boost when it comes to tidying up after a busy days play. The price is reasonably competitive and we can't really find fault with this one. Do be aware though that it will be necessary to thoroughly apply a decorative/preservative finish to the playhouse at the time it's assembled and this will need to be maintained throughout the life of the building. Although it might seem like a chore it's important to do this to avoid the timbers quickly weathering and suffering premature rot and decay.
