Style and Design
Here we have the popular Honeysuckle wooden playhouse on a tower with an optional wavy slide to add to the fun. The playhouse itself is constructed to a traditional apex roof design with two Georgian style windows to the front and a door featuring a decorated peephole window. The platform is robustly constructed with a balustrade for added safety and is accessed by a step ladder. The Honeysuckle is a reasonably compact tower playhouse with all the features you would usually look for. The elevated design adds an extra dimension to play and will keep children occupied for hours in healthy and imaginative outdoor play.
The playhouse is constructed in 12mm wooden framed tongue and groove cladding with an 8mm solid sheet roof and flooring. The framing is 28 x 28mm. The roof is finished in sand felt for weatherproofing. The windows are glazed with 2mm styrene safety glass while The tower comprises robust timber framing with a plastic slide.
The overall measurements are 7'8'' x 6'6'' (2.3 x1.98m) without the slide and 13'8''(4'1m) x 6'6'' (4.1 x 1.98m) with slide included. Overall height at the apex of the playhouse roof is 8'9'' (2.66m).
Normally the playhouse is supplied with a pre delivery dip treatment. This is only really designed to cover pre-sale storage and delivery and a further decorative/preservative finish will require to be applied at the time of construction.
Options for the Honeysuckle tower vary from supplier to supplier and may include an installation option, roofing upgrade, tool kit and a choice of DIY timber treatments.
Unless an installation option is purchased the playhouse will be delivered with full instructions ready for DIY assembly.

For a no frills budget tower playhouse and slide you won't go far wrong with the Honeysuckle. The safety ballustrade will give peace of mind to the parents of younger children and the Honeysuckle has an attractive appearance which can be decorated to give a lasting feature in the garden.
An alternative to the Honeysuckle in this price range would be the Tulip Tower which boasts similar features and has the additional option of a playcentre with swing - at a cost of course - but children do like swings.
